Grant Behne-Ryan is on a path traveled by several rising stars at Retire SMART: start as an intern, excel and impress, get hired as support staff while pursuing a college education, obtain the required licensing and credentials, and become a financial advisor.
Step one is complete. Grant did a great job as an intern is now on support staff as he begins finance studies at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. There was a possibility for pursuing sports in college, but he declined that to focus on building a career in finance.
Grant already has obtained licenses in Life & Health, Accident, and Sickness. He is pursuing his Series 65 certification. In addition to becoming a licensed financial advisor, he plans to become a Certified Financial Planner.
Grant remains engaged in sports. He enjoys golf, fishing, and a variety of sports and exercise activities. His favorite quotation is from Eric Thomas: “When you want to succeed as bad as you want to breathe, then you’ll be successful.” We fully expect Grant to continue doing both!
