One stop. Many options.
A recent study found that 72 percent of Americans indicated they would be willing to give up smaller pay increases in exchange for steady and reliable income in retirement. In the same study, 77 percent said the disappearance of pensions has made it harder to achieve the American dream.1
That’s where we come in.
We use insurance products, such as fixed annuities, and a variety of investment products to help you build financial strategies. From tax-efficient strategies to investment advice to protecting some of your assets — we’ll cover as many bases as possible to help you create a strategy that supports your retirement lifestyle and long-term financial goals.
Once we understand your financial situation, risk tolerance and investment objectives, we can help you decide which types of products and services fit within your financial strategy.
Retire SMART advisors know that retirees need more from their financial plan than money management. SMART Plans are a coordinated effort between financial advisors, attorneys, tax professionals, and healthcare specialists. These are our five key areas of retirement planning.
Sources of Income
Most people are fearful of running out of money in their retirement. Identifying which accounts, when and how much to draw from them, along with knowing tax implications from all your sources of income can be confusing. We provide a comprehensive written income plan, so you know what’s possible.
Medical & Healthcare
One of the greatest expenses in retirement, we help you navigate and identify the best options to maximize coverage and minimize overall healthcare costs, while providing creative solutions for other potential costly care.
Advanced Financial Planning
Our holistic approach to retirement planning requires an in-depth financial analysis to help you make informed decisions about your financial future so you can enjoy life today and leave a legacy in the future. Your retirement plan must be coordinated with your legacy plan to maximize benefits and minimize taxes.
Risk Management
Markets have ups and downs, but losses in retirement are not just “paper losses”. They can have real and dramatic lifestyle consequences. Risk management strategies can limit losses and help keep you on track regardless of market conditions. We will align your plan to fit your risk comfort level.
Tax Efficient Strategies
Taxes can be a major retirement expense. There may be strategies to permanently reduce your income taxes in retirement and help you keep more of your hard-earned income. We look for every opportunity to minimize taxes and take proactive steps to provide the best possible retirement outcome.
